Wrexham Office Lockdown Update

Following the announcement that Wales will go into a ‘Firebreak’ lockdown from 6pm on Friday 23rd October 2020, we have made some changes at our Wrexham office.

We have taken this decision to protect the wellbeing and safety of our clients and staff, who will continue to provide exceptional service to yourself via remote working from home.

How can I communicate with the Firm?

All of our staff will still be available by the email addresses and telephone numbers that you have previously used to contact them. As the offices will be closed please use the above methods to contact our staff in the first instance.

Alternatively please call the office on 01978 261579 or email wrexham@wrpartners.co.uk

How can I send across my records?

Due to our offices being closed to clients, we ask that any records that we need in order to progress your accounts or tax returns are sent electronically to the office. Our staff will be in contact where appropriate to ask for records that are essential to progressing your accounts work.

Only in exceptional circumstances will Clients be able to drop records off at the office. The decision to drop any records at the office lies solely with yourself, and the Firm will not insist that records are physically dropped off.

In this instance please put records through the letterbox on the front door of the office. Only ring the doorbell at the front of the building for attention if your records will not fit in the letterbox. Clients will not be allowed into the building, and staff greeting clients at the door will wear appropriate PPE whilst taking any records.

Any outgoing client work and records will be sent electronically wherever possible. If this is not possible we will post your records or hold them till it is safe for them to be handed back to you.

Are client meetings taking place?

Due to travel restrictions and strict guidance on how staff can interact with clients in person, face to face meetings will not take place, whether that be in our office or on site at a client’s premises. With this in mind, all face to face client meetings that have been arranged to take place within the next two weeks will be postponed or rearranged to take place over Zoom/telephone. Our team will be in contact with you in due course if you are affected by this.

How long will the measures be in place?

The current Firebreak lockdown will be in force by the Welsh Government until the start of Monday 9th November 2020. To allow the Firm time to process any new guidance that is issued on the 9th November 2020, the above measures will remain in place for the Firm until at least Tuesday 10th November.
