Welsh Economic Resilience Fund update

Applications for the first element of the Economic Resilience Fund, which is aimed at qualifying businesses meeting one of the four criteria below, have been extended until 5pm on Monday 14th June. These applications will be managed by the Welsh Government. Please note, there will be no automatic payments, businesses are required to make an application for a grant.

  • A company registered with Companies House or the Charities Commission with a turnover above £85,000

  • Is VAT registered with turnover above £85,000

  • Sector exempt from VAT with turnover above £85,000

  • A fully constituted and trading partnership, community interest company, co-operative society or community amateur sports club

The second element of the Economic Resilience Fund, offering grant funding to qualifying businesses with a turnover of less than £85,000 is being administered by local authorities. Again no automatic payments will be awarded and as such, businesses will need to apply for a grant. Application forms can be found on the relevant local authority website, with applications set to close at 5pm on 30th June.
