Michael Sheppard retires following 34 years at WR Partners

Following a career of 34 years with WR Partners, 29 of which are as a Partner, Michael Sheppard retired from the Partnership on 31st March but will continue to work as a consultant.

Michael has 35 years of experience working in the industry, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in a national firm of accountants, based in London in 1986. He then went on to join Whittingham Riddell in 1987 and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1991.

During Michael’s time at WR his contribution to the practice has been significant, he has seen the firm change and develop over the years, including his valued efforts with the development of the taxation practice of the firm and his commitment to the compliance standards of WR and we wish to thank him for the part he played in these developments. 

More recently Michael has supported the firm through the rebrand to WR Partners and the acquisition of Howard Worth and has been a great advocate for the future of the business and all its employees.

Over the years, Michael has dealt with many personal and business-related matters for his clients.  The relationships and service have been appreciated and will truly be missed.
