HMRC Statutory Sick Pay Rebate (SSPR) service is now open

Your business could be eligible for support if you employed less than 250 employees on 30 November 2021, and you’ve paid Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) to your employees for coronavirus-related sickness absences.

You may be able to reclaim up to two weeks' SSP which you have paid to your employees, at the relevant standard weekly rate of £96.35. This applies to any eligible periods of coronavirus-related illness starting from 21 December 2021.

You could claim for the cost of up to two weeks’ worth of SSP for an employee who was absent because of coronavirus, regardless of whether you claimed for that employee under the previous scheme.

If you have any questions regarding claiming, please contact our Employer Services Team on 08000 664 664.

For full guidance, including eligibility and how to make a claim, visit www.gov.uk and search 'coronavirus-related SSP'
