Andy Malpass takes up new role in the UK200 Group

We are delighted to report that WR Partners’ Andy Malpass has been elected as the chairman of the UK200 Group. The appointment was made at the groups last AGM in November 2020 and Andy started in his role at the start of this year.

The UK200Group is the UK’s leading professional services group of independent quality assured chartered accountancy and law firms and a resource that WR Partners is proud to be a member of.

From the practice’s membership and Andy’s appointment we are excited that our clients will further benefit from the group’s collaborative working relationships, sharing best practice, knowledge and skills and a continuous focus on growth and innovation.

Through his role as an audit partner at WR Partners and a member of the businesses Executive Board with responsibility for operations, Andy actively participated and contributed to the UK200Group for many years, having chaired both the Charities and Education Committee and the QAS Committee before his election to chairman.

On his appointment Andy said: "I am extremely proud and privileged to have been elected Chair of the UK200Group and I am looking forward to working closely with the Board, and the Team at the Centre and the wider membership. Our involvement with the UK200Group will continue to benefit our clients at a time where our role as accountants and advisers is more important than ever”.
